Star Style Obsession - Elizabeth Olsen

For my first style obsession of 2012 I went for a girl who is firmly stamped with the 'One To Watch' label - she has been cropping up on red carpets looking stunning for quite a while now, and is getting a bit of a reputation for her amazing style. Yes, Mary-Kate & Ashley have their fashion label The Row, and have been known as uber-stylish for years now, but my spotlight falls on their younger sister.. In my opinion her red carpet looks are flawless, and her off-duty style is effortless - if only I had her wardrobe!

This is one of my favourite looks of Lizzie's - the silver sparkling dress is gorgeous, and her hair and makeup is just flawless. A totally classically gorgeous outfit that still makes a statement.

Speaking of making a statement.. She is totally disproving the idea that an LBD is always a safe option here, the high neck, ruffle & sheer hem & killer gold belt make this dress far from ordinary, boring or plain. I am also slightly in love with her accessorising.. her hair is just the right side of quirky, the bright lip is gorgeous and I want those shoes.

A definitely quirky look here, and something that not many people other than Elizabeth could pull off. I personally love this dare-to-be-different approach to dressing that shows just how versatile her style is. Layering a white shirt under a shift dress is something I have got to try.. and yet again, how cute are her shoes?

Again working the classic wardrobe staple that is the white shirt, but this time a rather gorgeous sheer one. I also love the colour-block mini which stops her looking frumpy and covered up with the shirt, while showcasing pretty enviable legs. What really makes the ensemble work for me though are the statement necklaces which add interest to the whole look.

There is no other word for this look than angelic. Okay, so she's the most glamorous angel I've ever seen, but the combination of an embellished, flapper style maxi dress (don't get me started on how 20s-obsessed I've gotten), softly waving hair and flawless, peachy makeup make Lizzie look like she's just stepped down from heaven. Stunning.

This recent red-carpet look cemented Elizabeth as one of my style obsessions - it's another LBD with a twist. I love the hem with differing lengths and the way the red lining is echoed in the red belt. Yet again her hair and makeup are flawless. Please, can I just be her?

Any appreciation of any Olsen sister's style wouldn't be complete without some street snaps. Her older sisters are known for always looking good off-duty, and Elizabeth definitely does them proud. What I love about her style here is that it is effortless, on trend and totally wearable. It's also very winter-appropriate - that scarf and hat look ridiculously cuddly and cosy!

Again working a classic white shirt, teamed this time with leggings, a gorgeous printed blazer and the shoe of the minute - slippers. Yes, slippers. This look is making me want some, especially with those sweet little tassels!

She is definitely not in the shadow of her older sisters, carving out her own versatile style with killer red-carpet ensembles and wearable day-to-day outfits, made cohesive with her gorgeous peachy makeup and sweet blonde locks. Elizabeth is one to keep your eye on this year - I am expecting great things from her
both as an actress and style-wise, and if 2011's appearances are anything to go by, I won't be disappointed. Here's to hoping that 2012 is Lizzie's year. Love and kisses, Tara xox
