Poppy-print.

I finally had a Saturday morning free and in my own home yesterday, so of course I went shopping. I hit the town with Mum (although we went our separate ways for most of it) and managed not to spend too much money. I did get a few cute things, although since Mum paid they are being held back for my birthday - so photos will come with the rest of my birthday haul in around 18 days! Since it was a fairly relaxed affair I went for quite a toned-down, simple outfit by my standards..

Dress & Cardigan - H&M; Shoes - New Look; Belt & Tights - Primark; Bag - H! by Henry Holland; Ring - Topshop; Necklace - Temporary Secretary.

I think about 70% of my wardrobe must be florals, since I seem to drag a new floral print out of there every few days. I have had this dress for a while, but only worn it once so I decided to throw it on for my shopping trip. I love it because the digital poppy print is so cute, and the shape is really flattering. Keeping it fairly relaxed, I paired it with a long black cardigan and black opaques, then couldn't resist some colour. I seem to be going for purple quite a lot these days and Saturday was no exception with my purple wedges and bag, but I also added some pops of coral with my ring and belt.

Like I said, the majority of what I picked up yesterday is actually intended for my birthday, so you will have to wait until then to see it, just like I have to wait to wear it! I did buy a few things for myself, but mostly basics like tights and leggings - nothing that exciting really. My sole extravagances were this month's Vogue, featuring Charlize Theron, and a new perfume.

Say hello to Dazzling Darling, the latest fragrance from Kylie Minogue. I tried this last weekend when I was at Becca's house for the concert and totally fell in love with it, resolving to buy it the next time I went shopping. The bottle is gorgeous, and I absolutely love the lilac hue of the perfume. I am wearing it now and it is a beautiful, subtle scent that is quite entrancing. Expect a proper review on a day when I have nothing else to say!

Love and kisses, Tara xox
